Norfolk - Allolevia Pecola Gary Smith of the 1700 block of Melon Street departed this life January 13, 2013. Born in Norfolk, she was a longtime member of St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church.

She is predeceased by her husband; Milton E. Smith, Sr. Survivors include her son, Milton E. Smith, Jr. (Theodosia) and son-in-law, Robert Outlaw of Maryland, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held noon Saturday at St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 3pm – 7pm Friday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com
