Margaret M. Hoggard Walker made her transition to her eternal home on Thursday, January 31, 2013, after an extended period of convalescence. A native of Chesapeake, VA, Margaret Malinda Hoggard Walker was the eighth child born to George H. Hoggard, Sr. and Mary E. Forrest Hoggard in South Norfolk, VA. Parson, Presiding Bishop of the Charismatic Churches of God in Christ Int’l. (Baltimore, Maryland); a niece, Beatrice Saunders (Chesapeake, Virginia); a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and other relatives; her close friend and co-laborer in the Ministry, Evangelist Ida Mae Davis; friends, and her many sons and daughters of the abundant ministries, outreaches, missions and churches to which she served and nurtured.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence (Buster) Walker; her father, George H. Hoggard, Sr.; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Hoggard; four brothers: Joseph Hoggard, Arthur Hoggard, George H. Hoggard, Jr., and Wyman Lee Hoggard; and four sisters: Garphelia White, Mary Ethel Lee, Eula Dozier, and Thelma Downing.

Friends may join family members at Refuge Church of God in Christ 2130 Stalham Rd., Chesapeake, on Friday from 5 to 7 PM for viewing and reflections.
