Chesapeake - Addie Pearl Greene, 81, of the 300 block of Dexter Street was called home to be with the Lord September 22, 2007. She was a member of the United Order of Tents.



She was predeceased by her husband, Major J. Greene, Sr. and son, Major J. Greene, Jr. Survivors include two daughters, Ada Fuller (Simeon) and Subrina Napoleon (Bernardino) of Virginia Beach; two sons, Vantilburg Greene (Hortense) of Virginia Beach and Derwood E. Greene of Chesapeake; 26 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, a host of relatives and friends.



A funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday at New Central Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Tuesday from 2pm - 7 pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
