CHESAPEAKE - Albert Griffin, Sr. of the 500 block of Fernwood Farms Road departed this life May 23, 2013. Born in Norfolk County, he was employed at Norfolk Rework Facility until his retirement.

He is predeceased by his wife, Viola Griffin and his son, Frederick Griffin. Survivors include a daughter, Veron-ica Tutwiler (Theodore) of Norfolk; son, Albert Griffin Jr. (Margie) of Chesapeake; two sisters, Ruth Smith of Chesapeake and Tilla Smith of Portsmouth; one brother, Garfield Griffin (Jean) of Portsmouth; seven grand-children, seventeen great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friend.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at New Galilee Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 3-7pm
