Obituary

Annais Louis Mann was born in Nansemond County on August 20, 1934 and enetered eternal rest on December 16, 2021. He was eductaed in the Chesapeake School System. Louis Mann worked for the city of New York for 36 years. He retired in 1995 and moved back to his hometown of Norfolk, Virginia. He loved people and especially cooking.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents Martha and Annias Mann; sisters, Cleo Hill, Dorthy Portlock, Vernell White, Calton Person, Alice Backus, and Evelyn Sears; brothers, Arthur Mann, Thomas Mann, Daniel Mann; wife, Mittie Mann, stepdaughters Mary Wilson, Marcia Freeman, and stepsons Nathaniel Wilson and Roy Wilson Sr.

He leaves to cherish precious memories; his son: Louis Annias Mann Jr.; his daughter: Karen Ann Mann; five stepsons and one stepdaughter, Wallace Wilson Jr. (Margaret), Everette Wilson (Felicia), Mittie Gaynor (Ezell Jr.), Floyd Wilson (Adriene), George Wilson (Rita), Curtis Wilson (Janell). Antionette Wilson. thirty-one grandchildren; forty-two great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. one sister; Emma Mann, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

A funeral servie will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Jesus Church of Deliverance at 5246 Jones Lane, Chesapeake. Interment at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 5 pm until 7pm on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
