IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Annie Malone
Crudup
July 10, 1927 – January 2, 2021
On Saturday, January 2, 2021, with family by her side, our beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt, Annie Lee Malone Crudup, listened as God said, "My daughter, suffer no more", She quietly went to sleep. Now she is resting peacefully in the arms of God.
Deaconess Annie Lee Malone Crudup was born July 10, 1927, in Warrenton, North Carolina to the late Cleveland Malone, Sr. and Mary Evans Malone Fowler. She was employed with Chesapeake Public Schools for 47 years until she retired.
Deaconess Crudup joined First Baptist Church South Hill at an early age. She faithfully served her church in many ministries. She was a former Sunday School teacher, member of the Missionaries, Pastor's Aid, Senior Choir, and Progressive Club.
Deaconess Crudup had a passion for spreading love with family and anyone she met. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts, to know her was to truly love her. Her favorite sayings, "Love thee one another, be kind to each other, when you pray ask the Lord to guide you in what you say to people, so you don't hurt their feelings, cause your feelings is all you have, just live a Christ like life. If He don't spare you a long life, He will give you a good life. Treat folks fair and have love for everyone".

Crudup, her mother, Mary Evans Fowler, father, Cleveland Malone Sr., brothers, Cleveland Jr., Haywood, William Ester, and James Malone, and a sister, Elizabeth Malone Thornton.
