Chesapeake - Annie Mae Tomlin, 82, of the 2600 block of Hemple Street departed this life February 16, 2009. Born in Marion, South Carolina, she was a former member of Gordon Chapel A.M.E. Church.

She is predeceased by her husband Rev. W.J. Tomlin. Survivors include her daughter, Maxine Tomlin of Chesapeake, a sister, Jessie Lee Paterson of Philadelphia, grandson, Pastor Joel Tomlin, two great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.





A funeral service will be held Friday at 12:30 pm at New Mt. Zion Church, 113 Seekel Street, Norfolk. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held 2pm - 7pm Thursday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
