On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, our family circle was broken when God called our father, son, and brother home. Antonio Ali Green, Sr. was born on October 14, 1980, to Edith and James Green in Norfolk, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his brother James Green III and his sister Latoya Green.

Antonio enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to music and getting ready for the football season to start so he can watch his favorite team play. Growing up in Chesapeake, he attended Crestwood Intermediate, Indian River Middle and Indian River High School. Before Antonio got sick, he worked with his father James Green at his store doing deliveries. Antonio has four kids who he loves dearly. He met his soulmate Cheyanna Wise(wife), whom he has shared his life with for 20 years. When Antonio got sick, he would hide his pain and you never knew it, because he was always smiling and saying, "I am doing ok." He had a spiritual belief in God and prayer, and said it was time for him to be with his siblings.

He leaves to cherish his memories his soulmate Cheyanna Wise; kids, Antonio Green Jr., Alijah Green, Daveon Green, and Tonae Green; sister Monica Green; half-sisters, Patti Owens, Jamie Grant, and Shandreka Grant; three nephews James Morning, Dennis Green and Amir Cross; one niece Alyssia Smithwick and a host of family and friends.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at St. Luke Church Cemetery, 241 St. Lukes Church Road, Chesapeake where viewing will be held at the cemetery the day of the service. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake is in charge of arrrangements.
