Chesapeake – April Lynne Hulsizer Lawrimore, 51, of the 2100 Block of Greenbrier Road departed this life May 28, 2009. Born in Flemington, New Jersey, she was a LPN for 28 years.

She is predeceased by her father, Francis B. Hulsizer. Survivors include her husband, Jerry R. Lawrimore of Chesapeake; two sons, Neal Rivera and Ronald Brooks of New Jersey; one granddaughter, Aimee Rivera of Las Vegas; her mother, Beverly Hulsizer of New Jersey; one brother, James Hulsizer (Barbara) of New Jersey and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at the Nixon Family Cemetery. Viewing will be held 2pm – 7pm Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive quest from 6 pm – 7 pm.
