Chesapeake - Ardean L. White went home to be with the Lord on November 22, 2012 at the age of 75. She was born in Union, Kentucky on April 16, 1937.

Mrs. White is survived by her husband, Samuel W. White of 54 years. She is lovingly remembered by her son, David White; daughters, Linda White and Vanessa Butts; grandchildren, Crisanta White, Jacquelynn Butts and Michael Butts; great grandchildren, Kevin Butts and Jordan Butts and a host of other family members and friends.

The visitation will be held at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake on Friday, between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at Bethany Baptist Church, 2587 Campostella Road, Chesapeake, Virginia, 23324 on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
