Ariel Mark Wright, 26, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2017. Ariel was born December 23, 1990, in Norfolk, Virginia. He graduated with honors from Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, Va. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Lightfoot Wright (Norfolk); his father, Raymond Wright (Norfolk); a brother, Aaron L. Lightfoot (Virginia Beach); grandmother, Gloria Woolard (Chesapeake); aunt, Regina Lightfoot Walker (Percy Walker) (Maryland); two cousins, Michael D. Jones II (Virginia Beach), and Terrence S. Walker (Maryland); guardian-parents, Shirlene Smith and Clifton Smith (Norfolk); 2 nephews, Jaylen Lightfoot and Aaron Lightfoot II; 2 god-brothers, Michael and Terry Smith (Norfolk); 2 great-aunts, Helen Redd (Norfolk), and Evelyn Houston (Michigan) and a host of cousins and friends.

Viewing will take place at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake on October 18, from 5p.m. to 7p.m. Services will be held at Calvary Revival Church in Norfolk on Thursday, October 19, at 11:00am. Internment at Roosevelt Memorial Park in Chesapeake.
