Norfolk – Barbara Y. Bazemore, 54, of the 2900 block of Lens Avenue was called home Sunday, July 25, 2010. Born in Norfolk, she was employed at TCC as the Testing Center Manager for over 10 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Deidra R. Lewis (John) and her son, Darius R. Lewis (Karla) of Norfolk; two sisters, Bonita Y. Brooks (Andrew) and Dorothy E. Harris of Chesapeake; one brother, Baron Y. Harris of Norfolk, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010, 1 pm at First Baptist Church Money Point. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
