Chesapeake – Bessie Mae Hubbard of the 1300 block of Chesapeake Avenue entered into eternal rest on June 3, 2010. She was born in Chesapeake to the late Jessie Sr. and Annie Jones.
She is survived by her son, Keith Hubbard II; three sisters, Ella Carter and Mary Corprew of Chesapeake and Lillie Jones of Norfolk; two brothers, Edward Jones (Shirley) of Virginia Beach and Arthur Jones of Germany and a host of family and friends.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 12 noon at New Galilee Baptist Church, 1013 Great Bridge Blvd, Chesapeake, 23320. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
