Norfolk – Callie Ellen Clark Jones, 73, of the 3500 block of Seay Avenue departed this life on June 21, 2011. Born in Norfolk, she was employed at Norfolk Naval Air Station for over 25 years until her retirement in 1993. She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a former member of the usher board.

She is survived by her husband Hugh L. Jones, Sr. of Norfolk; two daughters, Waunda M. Jones of Norfolk and Lisa R. Jones of Richmond; one son, Hugh L. Jones, Jr. (Ida Bailey) of Baltimore; MD; two sisters, Joyce Perry and Linda Basnight of Norfolk; four brothers, Edward L. Clark of Baltimore, MD, Shelton Clark (Shirley) and Jerome Clark of Norfolk, and Kim Clark (Alyssa) of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at New Calvary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be held from 12 pm-5 pm Sunday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
