On Monday, November 28, 2011, God sent His angels to bring his daughter, Carrie Brown, home. She retired from the City of Norfolk Department of Social Services after 25 years of dedicated service. Sister Carrie was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Campostella.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Drumgo; two sons, Calvin (Ricky) Brown and Dwight Brown; two grandsons, Derek Drumgo, Sr. and Travis White; five granddaughters, Shanel White, Tiffany Drumgo, Whitney Drake, Danielle Drake, and Jennifer Murray; sixteen great-grandchildren; two god-children; nieces, nephews and a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends.

The wake service will be Friday, 6pm -7pm at First Baptist Church Campostella, where the funeral will be Saturday at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be offered at www.pretlowandsons.com.
