Obituary
Chesapeake-Carver Lee Spence of the 1300 block of MacDonald Road departed this life September 13, 2011. Born in Norfolk, Virginia he was employed at Norfolk Naval Air Station as an Aircraft mechanic until his retirement. He was enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served fours years and received an honorable discharge.
He is survived by two daughters, one son, two sisters, one brother, six grandchildren, a special friend and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held noon Monday in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will be held on Thursday at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk. Viewing will be held Sunday fro 12pm - 5 pm at the funeral home.
