Obituary
Charles E. Griffin, 27, went to be with his heavenly father on January 20, 2013. He was a member of St. Joseph A.M.E. Zion Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail E. Griffin. Survivors include his father Charles Tanks, his aunt, Patricia A. Griffin, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph A.M.E. Zion Church, Chesapeake, where viewing will be held from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. the day of the service. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com.
