Obituary
Norfolk - Charles Haywood Philips, Sr., 84, of the 1300 block of West 41 St, departed this life March 10, 2015.
He is predeceased by his wife, Mae L. Phillips. Survivors include four daughters, Alice Robinson (George) and Linda Waters of Newbern, NC, Mary J. Hagans of Norfolk and Regina Hardy (Richard) of Portsmouth; three sons, Johnson M. Phillips and Anthony R. Phillips of Chesapeake, and Elijah Phillips of Norfolk, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great –great grandchildren, relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 1 :00 p.m. Tuesday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will Monday from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
