Norfolk - Charlie Leroy Jennette, 68, of the 2800 block of Dunkirk Avenue departed this life August 1, 2007.



He is predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Ida Jennette. Survivors include four sisters, A. Barbara Whitaker of Chesapeake, Mary E. Davis of Norfolk, Blanche P. Jennette of Chesapeake and Gale P. Jennette of Norfolk; nine brothers, Chester L. Jennette (Connie) and Willie A. Jennette (Barbara) of Chesapeake, Joseph R. Jennette of Norfolk, Carlton E. Jennette of California, Jones E. Jennette (Dawn) of Baltimore, MD, Rudolph I. Jennette of Chesapeake, William B. Jennette (Linda) of Virginia Beach, Thomas R. Jennette and James F. Jennette (Ellen) of Norfolk, three uncles, thee aunts, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesady in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Monday from 2pm-7pm at the funeral home.
