Virginia Beach – Cheryl V. Wilkins, 51, of the 1200 block of Fenton Street departed this life January 22, 2009. Born in Virginia Beach, she was employed with the Virginia Beach Public School System for 18 years. She was a longtime member of New Light Baptist Church where she served on the Senior Usher Board.

She is predeceased by her father, Jarvis B. Wilkins. Survivors include her son, Rashard M. Wilkins and mother, Earlean Wilkins of Virginia Beach, sister, Tawandia Moss (Don) of Chesapeake and brother, Donvell Wilkins of Virginia Beach, a Godson, Zion Roberts of Chesapeake, five aunts, three uncles, one niece, and a host of cousins and friends.
