Portsmouth - Christopher Carrington Jr, 39, of Merrimac Drive departed this life April 21, 2007. He was a member of Greater St. Andrews AME Church.



He is predeceased by his mother, Carolyn M. Carrington. Survivors include, his son, Christopher J. Crowell of Portsmouth; his father, Christopher Carrington Sr. of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Teri Townes  and husband Karl of Portsmouth, Gwendolyn Carrington of Virginia Beach, and Erica Carrington of Norfolk; grandparents, Alfred and Marian Skinner of Norfolk, and William M. McCoy of Chesapeake, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



A funeral service will be held Friday at noon at Greater St. Andrews AME Church, 3008 MacDonald Road, Virginia Beach. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Thursday from 2pm - 7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
