Consevella C. Harris, 66, went to Heaven on Friday January 24, 2014. She was born to the late Edna and Louis Creekmur of Norfolk, Virginia.

She married her loving husband Lawrence Harris Sr. in 1964 on New Year's Eve. They were married for 49 wonderful years and lived together in Norfolk, Virginia. Consevella was a creative person who enjoyed a career as a Cosmetologist. She was a Mother to many but is survived by three children: Lawrence Harris Jr., Atra Ona Harris, and Timothy Harris. She is also survived by daughters-in-law: Constance Harris, Michele Harris, and Kizzy Harris. Surviving grandchildren include Brittanie Smith, Lawrence Marcus Harris, Dionel Hiriams, Diorel Hiriams, and Danielle Fortun. Consevella is also survived by two great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Holloman, and a host of relatives and friends.

Consevella Harris was an amazing woman who was always a willing listener, adviser, and source of strength. She will be dearly missed by everyone who ever had the honor of meeting her.

Viewing will be Wednesday from 3-7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, where the family will meet and greet friends from 6-7pm. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Norfolk. Burial will be held immediately thereafter at Albert G.
