Cordaro T. Alexander, our loving son, father, brother, uncle, and friend entered into eternal rest on January 22, 2017. He was a resident and native of Chesapeake, VA.  He was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents and his loving sister Vandalet S. Mercer. Cordaro was born on January 11, 1987 in Chesapeake, VA to Laverne Alexander Sivels and Franklin Riddick.  Cordaro  graduated from Hickory High School in 2005 with the joy of playing football and a passion for cooking.  Cordaro was a loving and good-hearted man, displayed humility, and was a friend to all.  He loved to cook, laugh, joke, and spend time with family and friends.

Here to celebrate the life of Cordaro are his children, affectionately known as, Zee-Zee, Na-Na, CJ, Dre-Dre; mother Laverne Alexander Sivels (Terry); father Franklin Riddick; brother Terry Sivels, Jr.;  maternal and paternal grandmothers; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. at New Galilee Missionary Baptist Church at 1765 South Military Highway Chesapeake, VA 23320.  Viewing will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm on Friday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street in Chesapeake.
