Curtis Lee Roundtree was called home to be with the Lord  May 19, 2020. He was born on February 27, 1938 in Norfolk, County to the late Emmual and Rosa Rountree. He was affectionately know as Bird. He was employed at Intercoastal Steel and retired in 1990.

He was predeceased by his loving wife Ruby Mae Roundtree and his son Curtis Jr. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Hosea Roundtree (Annie) of California, and Heath Roundtree (Lynette), of Chesapeake; six daughters Sabrina of Chesapeake, Lisa and Annette (Kevin) of Norfolk, Tabatha(Kent) of Portsmouth, Tracey and Kim of Chesapeake; eight grandchildren Trice, Sherrie, Carla, Kevin(Whitney), Curtis III, Marcus, Brittany, and Vincent; eight great grandchildren; two siblings Emmual Roundtree and Ann Horton and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Viewing will be held from 9:00 am until 10:45 am Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake. Services will be private.
