Chesapeake - Daniel T. Felton, Sr., 78, of the 1300 block of East Eva Blvd. departed this life March 24, 2007. Born in Hartford, North Carolina, he was employed with Norfolk Naval Shipyard for over 25 years until his retirement. He was a former member of First Baptist Church Bute Street and a Korean War Veteran.



He is predeceased by his wife, Mary Catherine Felton. Survivors include his son,

Daniel T. Felton, Jr. and wife Brenda of Houston, Texas, a sister, Mildred Wynn of Chicago, a brother, Edward Felton of South Carolina, two grandchildren, Catherine D. Felton, and DeMarcus T. Felton of Houston, Texas, and a host of relatives and friends.



A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park.
