Virginia Beach - Darren Shawn Wilson "D-dub", 25, of Virginia Beach, departed this life April 10, 2009.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Alberta Wilson. He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Damari Bell and Darren Wilson Jr., parents, Mona and Terry Harney, sister, Latonya Wilson, and brother, Carlton Wilson; five nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 12:30 pm Saturday at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 2pm – 7pm Friday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, where the family will receive guest from 6 pm – 7 pm.
