Norfolk - David O'Neal Perry departed this life on June 27, 2014 in Sentara Nofolk General Hospital.

David is predeceased by his sister, Angela Diggs and his brothers, Barry "Donnell" Diggs, and Jerome Phillip Perry. He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Shondra Hagines and her husband of Atlanta, GA; his mother Rebecca Diggs of Norfolk, Virginia; six grandchildren; five brothers,Kenneth Perry, Ernest Diggs, Jr. and Jimmy Diggsall of Norfolk, Onolonye Chaplin of Virginia Beach and Robert Goodman, Wallace, North Carolinan all of Norfolk, Virginia; one sister, Sandra Diggs –Nelson of Norfolk, Virginia; two aunts, Ernestine Leatherberry and Agnes Toliver of Norfolk, Virginia; one uncle, James Perry of Norfolk, Virginia; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
