Deacon Fulton Liston, Jr., 82, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024.  He was born June 16, 1941, to the late Oretha Robinson and Fulton Liston Sr. in Florence, South Carolina. Deacon Fulton met the love of his life and sweetheart, Barbara Mae Liston in high school.

He was predeceased by his parents Oretha Robinson and Fulton Liston, Sr., his sister Sallie Faulk who he cared for in her final days, and his wife Deacon Barbara Liston.  He leaves to cherish his memory a son Darryl Liston; a daughter, Darlene Liston; his siblings who affectionately called him "Junie Boy", three sisters, Velda Bell, Lydia "Tiny" Liston, and Renea "Shorty" Gott; a brother, Catalo Liston; one granddaughter Diamond Liston; one grandson Dominique "Niko" Liston and three great grandchildren; two nieces Uncle Flip raised, Andrea Williams and Janine Wilson. He was beloved by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces, and nephews, four sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, a host of cousins, and friends, Joe Pete, Bobby Wright, and Deacon Wingate

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at First Baptist Church Crestwood, 4701 Bainbridge Boulevard, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held from 5pm until 7pm on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Prelow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake.
