Suffolk - On Tuesday, September 4, 2007, Trustee Deloris "Goodie" Allbritton Moyler of the 2000 block of Gunston Drive departed this life at Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia.



Deloris Allbritton was born March 29, 1951 to the late Samuel Allbritton Sr. and Mary B. Allbritton in Norfolk, County now Chesapeake, Virginia.



She joined New Willow Grove Baptist Church at an early age. She attended schools in Chesapeake and later graduated from Norfolk State University in 1973. She retired from the Virginia-Pilot Newspaper with over 30 years of service.



Deloris Moyler leaves to cherish wonderful memories, her loving son, Alton Cordell Moyler, mother, Mary B. Allbritton; siblings, Ella L. Sykes, Samuel Allbritton, Jr. (Mae), Marvin E. Allbritton (Anne), Robert L. Allbritton (Beverly), sister-in-law, Christine Allbritton, niece, Renee Allbritton, nephews, Samuel Allbritton III, Stanley Allbritton, Terry Allbritton, Robert Allbritton, Jr., Michael Allbritton, Marcus Allbritton, and Lamont Draft; great nieces and nephews, Dezarae, Ramon, Nicholas, Rason, Alana, Romel, Eliyah, Porshia, Starr, Jadah and a special friend to the family Anita Spencer and family, and a host of other relatives and friends.



A funeral service will be held noon Saturday at New Willow Grove Baptist Church. Interment follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held Friday from 2pm - 7 pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
