Obituary
Chesapeake – Desteni Brooke Gist of the 3900 block of Ahoy Drive departed this life March 21, 2011. She was born September 28, 1987 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
She is survived by her daughter, Demi and son Desmond; mother, Susan Washington Gist and father, Troy Tynes; two brothers, Lief and Troy Gist, and a host of relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm Saturday March 26 at New Mount Olive Baptist Church, 662 Fernwood Farms Road, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Friday from 3pm- 7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Condolence may be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com .
