Dominic LaJay, also known as "Ross" peacefully passed away the age of 43, on March 25, 2023. He was born to Rosetta Gibson and Claude Holmes on January 1, 1980.

Dominic chose being a Barber as a hobby and he enjoyed doing it. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, music, and most of all family gatherings. We will miss him dearly, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother Rosetta Gibson, and "Brenda Holmes"; two beautiful daughters, Nidaja Huguley and Deavone Huguley; grandchildren Aimyrah Cherry, Da'Karri Huguley; brothers Ronald Gibson, Demetrius Reid, Donald Reid, Derrick Reid, and Sharodd Reid; sisters Ladrina Simmons, Shaquetta Gibson, Laquita Gibson, and Jasmine Sears, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Friday, April 7, 2023 at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake.
