Dondra M. Harrell Winstead, 50, of the 1900 block of Oliver Avenue, departed this life July 16, 2012. Born in Norfolk, she was employed as a transportation specialist at the Norfolk Naval Station for over 26 years.

She is survived by her parents, Herbert and Mary Harrell; her husband, Eric Winstead; three daughters, Deneka Harrell, Terri Watson, and Ericka Harrell; one son, Derrick Harrell Sr.; five grandchildren; Terry Highter, Destiny McKleny, Derriona Harrell, Xaviyon Harrell, Derrick Harrell Jr.; three sisters, Shelia Harrell, Darlene Golden and Anita Brown; three brothers, Robert Simmons, Andre Simmons, and Kevin Harrell; two special nieces, Cherita Harrell, and LaVonna Harrell; two special nephews, Renard Harrell and Nickalos Golden; one aunt, host uncles, cousins and co-workers, and friends.

A funeral service will be held noon Tuesday, at St. Mark UCC. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Monday from 3–7 pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, where the family will receive friends from 6-7pm.
