The loved and admired Dorothy B. Griffin was born March 03, 1954 to the late Walker Alexander and Inez Griffin. She was also preceded in death (5 brothers) Linwood Griffin, Richard Griffin, Weslie Griffin, Leslie Griffin and Walter Alexander.

On Sunday, February 21, 2021, Dorothy B. (Bunny) Griffin was called home to be with the lord. She attended Chesapeake Public Schools. She was also a loyal and trustworthy employee of her employers.

Left to cherish her memory are her 3 children, Kevin (Sydonna) Griffin, Ronnie Griffin, and Terrance Jones. Three Sisters: Barbara Judge, Chesapeake, VA; Laverne Jones (Larry), Virginia Beach, VA; Gladys Wooten, Virginia Beach, VA. Two (Brothers) Larry Griffin, Chesapeake, VA., and Elvis Alexander. 21 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Dorothy was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. She leaves a legacy of family, faith, and love. Her favorite saying was "What do you need" and this was evident by the love, devotion, and dedication of her family

Viewing will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 4pm unitl 5pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake. Due to COVID-19 gathering restrictions, the funeral will be private for immemdiately family only.
