Obituary
Dudley "Douglas" Ashby, 59, departed this life October 1, 2012. He worked for the City of Chesapeake, and he was a former member of New Light Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Trenise L. Spence, father, Jessie Ashby Sr., grandchildren, Angela Lewis and Michael M. Hamilton, four sisters, four brothers, a special friend, Tracey Graham, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at New Light Full Gospel Baptist Church, where family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake is in charge of arrangements.
