Obituary
Earnest L. Morris (Slick Moe) was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 5. Earnest retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad and was a member of First Baptist Church Berkley.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Delois Morris; three daughters Lisa Morris, Stephanie Moore (Ralph) and Rita Pierce; a sister Christine Newby; six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, July 9, from 3-7pm at First Baptist Church Berkley, 706 Berkley Avenue, Norfolk. A grave side service will be held at 9am on Wednesday, July 10 at Albert G. Horton Cemetery, 5310 Milner's Road, Suffolk. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Condolences can be offered to the family at www.pretlowandsons.com.
