Obituary
Chesapeake - Edith Winslow Dunbar, 84, of the 200 block of Grant Street was called home to be with the Lord October 25, 2006. Born in Columbia, North Carolina, she was employed with the Stop Organization and retired after many years of loyal service. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church Crestwood, where she was a member of the Senior Choir and Sunday School.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willis M. Dunbar and her son, William Dunbar. Survivors include her daughter, Denise D. Futrell of Chesapeake, seven sisters, one brother, seven grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins
and friends.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Crestwood. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
