Obituary

On March 30, 1928 the Lord gave this family strength, devotion, love, hope, faith and joy in the heart of Edna Clark.

Born the oldest to Beulah and Dan Daniels, she was raised to love The Lord and knew that He was her source of strength, serving as a member at St. Thomas AME Zion Church. She lived, loved, shared and cared for many in her blessed life. In 1949, she married Leon Clark and had 2 children, Pamela (George) Easter and Lionel Clark. This golden girl was a true Miss Daisy with a keen sense of fashion; having never worked or driven a day in her life but managed to always get around town. Her favorite things included shopping, spending time with her grandchildren and chatting with her sister-in-laws Audrey James, Rebecca Clark (deceased) and Millicent Clark.

For 92 years, the Lord ordered her steps and she lived a full life. She would say not to mourn her but rejoice that she is able to rest. She gave thanks to The Lord through good and bad times, when she was up and even when down because He was so good to her through the years.

On the afternoon of January 24, 2021 The Lord gave her, her crown. Her life is a living testimony of how she made it over and pieces of her live on in her children and grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Leon Clark, her only sister Catherine Hopkins and beloved nephew Rodney Hopkins. To cherish her memory she leaves behind her loving children: Pamela (George) Easter and Lionel Clark; 2 nieces: Sandra Crew and Cecilia Watson; a nephew: Leon Hopkins; 6 grandchildren: LaToya (Christopher) Rosser, Troy (Jannat) Easter, Brian Easter (Nicolle McEachin), Brooke (Vince) Parker, Bridgette (Andrew) Smoke and Alexis Clark; 8 great grandchildren: Deonté, Naasyr, Anaiyah, Yaani, Morgan, Ayden, Aubri, Olivia and the expectant arrival of the twins Addison and Ava; along with a host of additional loved ones
