Edward Patton, 89, was called home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2018. Born in Indianola, Mississippi, he was a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service for 34 years. He served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, London R. Patton; nine daughters, five siblings, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, where viewing will be Friday from 5pm until 7pm. Interment will be at Paradise Memorial Gardens, Scottsdale, Arizona. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.pretlowandosn.com.
