Brooklyn, New York – Mrs. Elee W. Polston, 95, a retired domestic worker, died on November 25, 2008 at a local hospital in Brooklyn. She was born in Bennettsville, South Carolina to the late Hattie and George Washington, and widow of the late Leroy Polston.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers, including her sister, Mrs. Matron I. Beckett of Norfolk. Survivors include four nieces, Jo Brodie (Kenny), Onriett White, Betty Gilchrist, and Matron Scott; caregiver, Thelma Munnerlyn of New York; special nephew, Michael Price of Boston, and a host of great nieces and nephews, relative and friends.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake, with the Rev. Sarah Eason Williams, pastor of the Church of the Living God, officiating. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake is in charge of arrangements.
