Chesapeake - Elmo T. "Yale" Moseley Jr. 66, of Chesapeake died unexpectedly on Thursday afternoon, October 25, 2007 at Chesapeake General Hospital.
Yale was born in Chesapeake, to the late Reverend Elmo T. Moseley Sr. and Rosetta Lee Moseley on October 5, 1941. He attained his B.A. in Industrial Arts & Physics from Hampton Institute.
During his life, Mr. Moseley was a commercial pilot, educator and owner of Excellent Choice Travels Bus Company.
He was preceded in death by father Rev. Elmo T. Moseley Sr., wife, Carol Armstrong Moseley (from this union Chanda Moseley was born) and grandson Theodore Moseley.
Mr. Moseley is survived by his wife Mary J. Moseley; daughter Dr. Chanda M. Walton (Eric); sons Clarence Randolph (Linda) and Antonio Moseley; his mother Rosetta Moseley; sisters Augustine M. Brown, Annie M. Boone (Bernard), Audrey Moseley and Rosetta M. Faltz; brothers James Bernard (Thelma) and Roosevelt Malachi (Doris) Moseley; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
A home going celebration of his life will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 1, 2007 at First Baptist Church West Munden, Chesapeake. The viewing will begin at
9:00 A.M., with the family receiving friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake is in charge of arrangements.
