After a long and rewarding life Eloise E. Bly peacefully slipped away into eternal rest on August 30, 2014 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. She fought the fight and won! She was born on June 5, 1948 to the late Hattie Reed and Eddie Edison. Before her illness, she was employed as a private duty nurse for Personal Touch.

Eloise is preceded in death by her husband, Percy E. Bly, and her brother Sylvester Edison. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter Rochelle Bly, and son Raynard Bly; grandchildren, E'Shaun Bly, Yesmia Bly, Taliyah Manson, and Tavius Bly; one brother, Wilbert Edison; a special friend William Bethea, and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Lee's Chapel AME Church, 1036 Bells Mill Road, Chesapeake. The family will receive friends Friday 5-7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
