Elton Askew, 97, was called home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2017. He is predeceased by his wife Eudosia R. Askew, and survived by his son, Elton Harrell.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday, August18, 2017 at New Rising Sun United Holy Church, 1709 Wilson Road, Norfolk, where viewing will be held at 10:00a.m. the day of the service. Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake is in charge of arrangements.
