Eric Stafford Flowers passed away on November 6, 2017 in New York. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, he was predeceased by his father, John I. (Blimp) Flowers, and his mother, Helen Whitney Whitaker. He was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by a sister, Shelia Cole; brother, John C. Flowers, LTC, USA Ret.; two sons, Christian Desean McDonald and Jason Eric Flowers; a daughter Lina Flowers; an uncle, a nephew, and a host of aunts, nieces, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake. An inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery is planned in early 2018.
