Ernest Jackson passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, in Chesapeake, Virginia. Born on August 12, 1929, he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Melba Jackson.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at Pretlow and Sons Funeral, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing will be held from 4pm until 6pm on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Prelow and Sons Funeral Home, 500 Liberty Street, Chesapeake.
