Virginia Beach - On Monday, December 2, 2010, Mrs. Ethel L. Simms passed away. She was 103 years old. Born December 20, 1906, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, she was a strong woman and her family was important to her. She is predeceased by her husband, Clyde Simms.
She is survived by grandsons, Rodney K. Gramberry and Joel L. Gramberry and other grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews out of state.
She will always be loved.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Friday in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.petlowandsons.com .
