Eva Marie Carroll, "Sister Clark,"65, of the 1100 block of Park Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia, departed this life on Sunday, May 24, 2009. She was born April 19, 1944 to the late Moses and Bessie Clark.

She is predeceased by her parents Moses and Bessie Clark and five brothers. She is survived by her husband Theodore M. Carroll and her children Yolanda Powell (Walter),  Melvin, Troy (Juanita), Derrick, Kenny (Sharon), and Lisa; two sisters, Barbara Godfrey and Linda Green; six brothers, Irvin, Willie, Herbert, Morris, Paul, and Roland; 25 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be held on Friday at 11:30 a.m. at New Community Temple COGIC, 3614 Tyre Neck Road in Portsmouth. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park in Chesapeake. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 2 p.m.- 7 p.m. at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home.
