Virginia Beach - Fannie Brewer Jones, 87, of the 6300 block of Colby Way departed this life February 25, 2008. Born in Edenton, North Carolina, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Jones and her parents Ernest and Fannie Brewer.



She is survived by her son, Willis A. Faulkner of Ozark, Alabama; brother, Sidney F. Brewer of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Shannon Faulkner of San Diego, California and Willie Faulkner of Los Angeles, California; a devoted niece, Pamela Bullock, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



A funeral service will be held noon Friday in the chapel of Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held 2 pm - 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will receive friends from 5 pm - 7pm.
