Chesapeake - George W. Carroll, ("Noonie"), of the 2000 block of Plow Lane departed this life June 14, 2007. Born in Norfolk County, he was employed at the Norfolk Naval Base until his retirement. He was a member of Little Zion Baptist Church.



He was predeceased by his parents, Theodora and Flonzora Carroll. Survivors include his son, Travis Holley; daughter, Ashley Foreman; two granddaughters, Demonnae Hurdley and Ra'Miyah Foreman; one grandson, Ramontae Martin; two brothers, Elbert Taylor Sr. (Mary), and Theodora Carroll; a half sister, Shirley Taylor-Offley, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



A funeral service will be held Wednesday noon at Little Zion Baptist Church, 141 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be held Tuesday from 2pm-7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
