Obituary
Norfolk – George R. Parson, Sr., 91, of Campostella, died February 28, 2013. He retired from the Norfolk Naval Exchange.
Survivors include two sons, David (Frances) and Charles, three daughters, Constance, Eleanor (Barry) and Marion (James), 16 grandchildren, and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, at St. Thomas AME Zion Church at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Monday from 3-7pm at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.pretlowandsons.
