Mrs. Georgianna Gibbs, 94, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ardissa and Lee Wilson; husband, Warner Gibbs, Sr.; two sons, James L. Nixon and Ronnie Gibbs, and a grandson. She leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter, Cecelia Cuffee; three sons, Cecil Nixon, Dennis Nixon and Warner Gibbs, Jr.; a sister, Doris Edmonds; a brother, Roscoe Wilson; ten grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A funeral service will be held 1pm Friday at New Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 662 Fernwood Farms Road, Chesapeake, Rev. Walter E. Mitchell, Pastor. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk. Viewing will be held from 5-7pm Thursday at Pretlow and Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
